Medical Student Membership

Medical Student Membership is available to individuals who are currently enrolled in medical school.

There is no membership fee for medical students.

Students who attend medical school outside King County are still encouraged to join if their home address is in King County. Many of our student members plan to return to the King County area after completing medical school.

For membership purposes, “medical students” are defined as full-time students making satisfactory progress toward one of the following degrees:

1. Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) through a medical school program in the United States accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME)
2. Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) through a medical school program in the United States accredited by the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM)
