Bio

Dr. Michelle Terry is a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine and a pediatric hospitalist at Seattle Children’s Hospital. She also serves as Assistant Dean for Underrepresented in Medicine and Science Career Development, supporting faculty mentorship, leadership, and professional advancement.

A longtime advocate for physicians and patients, Dr. Terry is a past President of the King County Medical Society, former Chair of the Washington Medical Commission, and delegate to the Washington State Medical Association. She has served on the American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on Medical Liability and Risk Management and is a member of the American Pediatric Society.

Her professional interests include health equity, physician well-being, medical regulation, and health policy. She earned her BA from Stanford University, MD Baylor College of Medicine, and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Washington.
