KCMS Community Foundation Medical Student Grant
Donations to the KCMS Community Foundation can be directed to supporting medical student grants.
The King County Medical Society Community Foundation (KCMS-CF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, provides grants to help medical students overcome financial barriers and succeed in their training. KCMS-CF recognizes the challenges many students face in becoming physicians and is committed to supporting the next generation of medical professionals.
The KCMS-CF Grant Committee, in collaboration with the University of Washington (UW), Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences (PNWU-HS), and Washington State University (WSU) medical schools, carefully reviews student applications. Selection is based on financial need, personal statement, academic achievement, community service commitment, and public health interest. Each year, one student per school is selected to receive a KCMS-CF grant.
